This was a collaborative project involving 12 artists. Each chose a book to be altered and designed the cover, and a few pages.

The book was then sent along to the next artist on the list, who did 2-4 pages, then sent it along, etc. etc.

Books were exchanged once per month, giving each artist time to think about what to do, and to have the time to do it.

At the end of 12 months, our own book made its way back to each of us, filled with our work and that of the 11 other artists.

When the project was completed, most of the group go together...to meet one another, and to admire the completed

books. The images shown here are some of the pieces that I did during the year in the various books.

I chose to gesso the pages on which I worked, and then drew, painted, and/or collaged on those pages
